Atul Mantri
Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, Virginia Tech
Dr. Mantri was recruited from University of Maryland’s Joint Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science (QuICS) where he was a postdoctoral associate. After completing his Ph.D. at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and Center for Quantum Technologies, Dr. Mantri spent time as a Research Associate at the University of Edinburgh. His research focus is secure delegated quantum computing with interests in the roles of interaction, randomness, security, and quantum correlations in various quantum cryptographic tasks pertaining to the client-server setting. His broader work is in quantum computation and quantum information.
Dr. Sangmork "Sam" Park
Assistant Professor, Department of Computer and Information Sciences, Virginia Military Institute
Dr. Sangmork Park is an assistant computer science and information science professor at VMI. He received a Ph.D. from the Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and a master’s degree from the Air Force Institute of Technology at Wright-Patt AFB.
His research interests include cybersecurity, machine learning, cloud computing, C4I systems, simulation, and optimization
